"National Take a Hike Day" Guided Hike

About this event

Join us for the "National Take a Hike Day" Guided Hike on November 17, a day established in 1965 to celebrate and recognize the beauty of nature in the US. This event, held at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center (LGNC), invites you to explore local trails while learning about the history and ecology of the Refuge. The hike covers 2.2 miles, starting with a rocky incline and then transitioning to smooth trails, concluding with a loop via the LNE and D&L trails. The total duration is approximately 1.5-2 hours. Participants should wear closed-toe hiking boots, dress for the weather, and bring water and snacks.
