RSME Frosty Open House: Miniature Train Rides

About this event

All Aboard to Get into the Spirit of the Holiday Season at the Reading Society of Model Engineers!

Join us for our Frosty Run Open House at the Reading Society of Model Engineers (RSME)! Enjoy rides on our miniature railroads as we celebrate the holiday season — a joyful way to embrace the crisp air, festive cheer, and the holiday magic of trains with family and friends.

At the RSME, you’ll enjoy a ride on the Laurel Run Railroad, a 15-inch gauge railroad that winds through our scenic woods. You can also hop aboard the Lite Rail Railroad, our dual gauge 7-1/4-inch and 4-3/4-inch railroad, for another unique journey through the frosty landscape.

Inside our clubhouse, warm up and explore an impressive collection of model train layouts, including our massive 40’ x 80’ 2-Rail “O” Scale Layout complete with “On3” narrow gauge, a 3-Rail classic “O” Scale Layout, and an “HO” Scale Layout. Each model railroad layout showcases incredible craftsmanship — all built and maintained by the dedicated members of the RSME, who bring the world of railroading to life in miniature.

Bring your friends and family, bundle up, and make lasting holiday memories at our Frosty Run Open House. Your ticket is good for rides all day! We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you at the RSME!

Cost: Adults: $10, Children (4-12): $5, Children under 3: Free
