Halloween may end with October but that doesn’t mean the ghosts are gone. Every ghost story you’ve ever heard offers a glimpse of the time it was written in. Join a state park naturalist for an evening hike on the Delaware Canal towpath at Thompson-Neely House, while we talk about local history and hauntings, and tap into why ghosts fascinate us so much in the first place.

For this walk, we will cover roughly 3 miles round trip on flat ground. Please bring water, any snacks you may want, and comfortable shoes for walking. We will also be out after dark for this hike, so you may want to bring a flashlight in case of cloud cover; we will be close to the half-moon phase. This program may be cancelled or modified in the case of inclement weather or unsafe driving conditions. For any questions about this program, please contact Annastasia Soto at annsoto@pa.gov .
