About this event
Tim Burton’s beloved holiday classic THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993) comes to the Gap Theatre in 35mm! Directed by Henry Selick and based on an original story and characters by Tim Burton, this stop-motion masterpiece stars the voices of Chris Sarandon as Jack Skellington, Danny Elfman as Jack’s singing voice, Catherine O’Hara as Sally, and Ken Page as Oogie Boogie. Bored with the same old Halloween routine, Jack, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, discovers the colorful wonders of Christmas Town and becomes determined to bring the holiday home. But when Jack attempts to take over Christmas and delivers his own ghoulish version of the holiday, things go horribly awry, forcing him to realize that some holidays are best left to those who understand them. See THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS on the big screen in 35mm on Sunday, December 6 at 3pm and Saturday, December 12 at 2pm.
