- ➤ Locals gathered outside La Bicicleta on Saturday to listen to the Venezuelan and American national anthems and mark the capture of Nicolas Maduro and his wife; residents expressed relief and hope — while sharing cautious thoughts for loved ones in Venezuela — as they awaited future news. 69 News
- ➤ Bogert's Covered Bridge, Allentown’s oldest, is closed since September for a $2.6 million renovation + a new slate roof, restored siding, and fresh paint. Crews are slowly straightening its sag to preserve the historic structure, with work expected to finish by late summer or early fall. 69 News
- ➤ The Little Gym celebrated its grand opening Saturday in Lower Macungie Township by offering classes for toddlers to 12-year-olds plus parent+child sessions, camps and birthday parties. 69 News
- ➤ The Upper Lehigh Lions Club ended a busy year of volunteer projects, donating homemade cookies to the Rescue Mission and supporting local fire companies, EMS, food banks, and scholarship programs. - ➤ Three Kings Celebration is held today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at ArtsQuest Campus at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. PPL presents the free event sponsored by B. - ➤ Matthew Blum in West Allentown designed the retro-style game Route 22 Rampage that sold out its 42 cartridge run within 24 hours; he is now manufacturing more packaging cases in his basement workshop (which also holds a 1969 Jackpot pinball machine). Lehigh Valley Press
- ➤ The immersive science-fiction film Avatar: Fire and Ash attracted local audiences at AMC Center Valley 16 in an IMAX 3D showing — highlighting advanced visual effects and action scenes from James Cameron’s franchise, following an opening weekend gross of $89.1 million. Lehigh Valley Press

- ➤ Girls in grades six to 12 will attend the Calling All Girl Bosses program in Allentown, held at One City Center’s Innovation Space.
