CULTURE NEWS

  • Secondhand Serenade, famous for its 2008 hit Fall for You, will perform at Archer Music Hall’s Arrow room on Friday, June 19 at 7 p.m. Ticket sales start at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9 plus the show celebrates the 20th anniversary of its most successful album.  Lehigh Valley News

  • Muhlenberg launches its Summer Institute, a two-week program in new media, journalism, entrepreneurship, theatre, political science, and psychology for rising high school juniors and seniors.   • The Army Corps of Engineers unveiled a new draft management plan for Beltzville Lake after nearly 55 years without change, and invites public comments from January 7 to February 6 (online or via email). The plan aims to update land use and recreation areas.  69 News

  • In his second sanctioned season, Catasauqua head coach Mike Rusnock said his girls wrestling team won four of five duals, with wins from returning and new wrestlers.
