- ➤ At the Jan. 13 school board meeting in Catasauqua, the board heard Alloy5 present two construction methods for the Sheckler Elementary School addition and unanimously chose the traditional on-site approach to move forward. - ➤ Miller-Keystone Blood Center launched its 12-week Blood Donor Madness competition on Jan. 12 to boost blood donations among regional colleges. Participating schools from Allentown, Bethlehem, and nearby communities are holding donor drives with winners (including a $10,000 scholarship prize) to be announced the week of April 13.
