Good morning, Allentown.

A powerful winter storm is hitting today, bringing heavy snow, freezing rain, and icy roads to Allentown.

City officials advise residents to limit travel and check local updates (for road closures and outages).

Allentown declared a snow emergency ahead of a winter storm expected to drop over a foot of snow today into Monday — enforcement began yesterday and 30 designated routes, plus free parking at 401 Hamilton St., will support snow removal efforts.
