- ➤ A water main broke in Allentown today, leaving several residents without water. City crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible. 69 News

- ➤ FirstEnergy Pennsylvania filed a Default Service Plan with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to protect over two million customers from overpaying by buying electricity through competitive auctions starting June 1, 2027 — the plan sets auction dates in 2027 and adjusts peak hours in its Time-of-Use program. 69 News
- ➤ Kase opened a 167,085 (sqft) facility at 2800 Liberty Dr. in Allen Township last month to serve as an East Coast fulfillment center. Prologis owns the hub, which is Kase's only East Coast center and sits near a Fuller Technologies facility. 69 News
- ➤ Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom will hire 2,000 seasonal employees for its 2026 season starting May 8, offering pay from $11.50 an hour during a week-long recruitment event that includes a virtual session from Feb. 14 to Feb. 22 (organized by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation). - ➤ Lutron Electronics acquired Tanury Industries, a longtime metal coatings partner, to bring its plating and coating capabilities in-house. Tanury will continue operations in Rhode Island while financial details were not disclosed. 69 News
- ➤ Eli Lilly said its fourth-quarter revenue in 2025 grew 43% to $19.3bn and international sales rose to $6.4bn—CEO David Ricks forecast up to $83B in 2026 revenue. - ➤ The Whitehall-Coplay School Board met virtually on Jan. 26 after a snowstorm closed schools, updating principal roles with Megan Pierre as the new assistant principal at the high school and awarding winter athletics achievements; upcoming meetings are scheduled for 4 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7 p.m. Feb. 23. - ➤ At the Catasauqua Communities That Care meeting on Jan. 21, district leaders previewed preliminary Pennsylvania Youth Survey data showing solid mental health but noted sixth-graders may need extra support while planning parent meetings and student recognition events.
