- ➤ Firstrust Bank is partnering with MortgageCountry LLC to manage mortgage production and technology as it shifts all originations to MortgageCountry’s platform; the new model will begin March 1. Lehigh Valley Business
- ➤ Six Flags Entertainment, which operates Dorney Park, reported 13% fewer visitors and lower earnings for Q4 2025 despite higher guest spending. CEO John Reilly remains upbeat and said the company will invest in new rides and park upgrades in 2026. 69 News

- ➤ Ticket sales are underway for 'Let Freedom Sing,' a musical celebrating America’s 250th birthday on May 27 at 7 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park, where the IronPigs and Bach Choir of Bethlehem will unite over 5,000 voices for historical song presentations and a fireworks sing-along (performance packages cost $20). 69 News

- ➤ Allentown Central Catholic High School announced services for former teacher John M. Rosenberger; the first viewing is Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kohut Funeral Home and the second viewing with a mass is Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. 69 News

- ➤ Residents at North Whitehall Township's Feb. 9 meeting voiced strong support for longtime auto repair owner Gene Weierbach, citing his strong community rating and a YouTube video with 197K views, while questioning spending over $100K in legal fees amid an ongoing dispute over an oil change. - ➤ Local gynecologic oncologist Dr. Rick Boulay from St. Luke's Health Network will join a seven-day Ausangate trail hike this July to raise funds for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. The group will start at 10,000 ft and climb to 17,000 ft (all proceeds support cancer research). 69 News
- ➤ On Feb. 4, David Spalding, an off-duty nurse and volunteer firefighter from LVH-Cedar Crest, rushed to help when a fire broke out at the orthopedic institute of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City in Dickson City.
