- ➤ Special Olympics Pennsylvania held its annual Lehigh Valley Polar Plunge on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown after relocating from Scott Park due to icy conditions. - ➤ A winter storm watch is in effect for Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, and Monroe Counties with heavy snow possible from late tonight through Monday afternoon. Residents should prepare for up to 12 inches of snow and gusty winds (up to 40 mph) and allow extra travel time. 69 News
- ➤ A winter storm warning is in effect from 7:00 a.m. today until 6:00 p.m. Monday for parts of southeast Pennsylvania, where 10 to 16 inches of snow and 40 mph gusts are expected to disrupt travel, while a watch covers Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, and Monroe Counties (residents prepare supplies). 69 News
