ArtsQuest reported a record $193 million economic impact in 2025 for the Lehigh Valley — driven by nearly 4,000 events including Musikfest ($121 million) and Christkindlmarkt ($14 million) — which boosted local tourism and small businesses.

The PA Dept. of Agriculture has opened matching grant applications to support nonprofits that promote local agricultural products+ these competitive grants total up to $381,810 and are available through April 10.

Firefighters in Allentown now can take a new blood test to catch cancer early through a partnership with the city, Lehigh Valley Health Network and Local 302.

The test comes after the Firefighter Cancer Support Network warned that cancer remains a top health threat.
