HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters in Allentown now can take a new blood test to catch cancer early through a partnership with the city, Lehigh Valley Health Network and Local 302. The test comes after the Firefighter Cancer Support Network warned that cancer remains a top health threat. 69 News
- ➤ Doctors warn that when Daylight Saving Time begins March 8, residents may lose sleep, which could raise their risk for heart attacks, strokes, and car crashes (sleep deprivation). They suggest easing into the change by shifting bedtime 15 minutes earlier each day. 69 News
