- ➤ St. John’s U.C.C. of Emmaus held a chowder fundraiser on March 12 where volunteers prepared 400 containers for over 300 prepaid orders and unsold soups were donated to the local food bank. - ➤ The Salisbury Township School District Board met on March 4 to review a $150,000 fence for enclosing the middle school's turf field and plan a $1.9 million sod-turf renovation, with engineering interviews and door replacement at the high school scheduled for upcoming reviews and this summer. - ➤ At the March 9 meeting, the East Penn school board approved the 2026-2029 K-12 Guidance Plan, counseling curriculum, and new school calendar while honoring state champion field hockey and cross-country athletes.
