  • Allentown Police are still investigating a noose found on a Black employee’s desk at City Hall on Jan 10 as spokesperson Genesis Ortega said further updates will be provided when available.  WLVR

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Ty Palmieri, an economics major graduating a year early from Muhlenberg, was accepted into Villanova’s law school after building a strong application from his work in Greek life, on the golf team, and in the Pre-law Club—support from professors and his role in ATO played a key part. He said Villanova’s beautiful campus and well-rated sports law and corporate law programs meet his goal to work near Philly.  Muhlenberg College
  • Muhlenberg College said its Fahy Commons for Public Engagement and Innovation added Phius Passive House Certification to its list of green awards, marking it as Pennsylvania’s first non-dormitory and largest non-residential Passive House.
