  • Police responded just before 12:50 a.m. early Thursday to a break-in call on the 4800 block of West Hopewell Road in Upper Saucon Township and engaged in a half-hour standoff with an armed suspect who died—authorities said—after negotiations broke down.  Lehigh Valley Live
  • At 12:48 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of West Hopewell Road in Upper Saucon Township after a 911 call about a break-in—police spent over 30 minutes negotiating with 35-year-old Jessica Gracia before she fatally shot herself and was pronounced dead at 2:41 a.m.—and the home is now boarded up as the investigation continues.  69 News
