- ➤ The Parkland Garden Club held its first meeting on Feb. 9 at its new location (St. John's United Church of Christ in Fogelsville) where Matt Worthington from Wild Birds Unlimited explained how to build natural habitats. - ➤ Cedar Crest College launched Advance at Cedar Crest, a new professional learning initiative that offers flexible online courses in business, healthcare and technology, aimed at helping working professionals, career starters and employer partners in the Lehigh Valley. - ➤ The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs reminds drivers that purchasing a women veterans license plate supports programs for over 62,000 Pennsylvania women veterans – the special plates range from $28 to $43 and require completing an application form. Parkland Press
- ➤ Sen. John Fetterman and Sen. Dave McCormick will join host Tony Iannelli (Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce president and CEO) on WFMZ’s Business Matters on Monday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. on 69 News for a half-hour interview. 69 News
- ➤ LANTA will raise fares starting Monday, March 23 — a single ride will cost $2.50 and a day pass $5, and transfers will no longer be issued on board. The senior pass remains free as the agency adjusts to inflation. 69 News
