- ➤ Archer Music Hall at 939 Hamilton St. opened its doors today with a series of concerts featuring bands many music fans have long awaited+ Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk, whose office is five blocks away, called the new venue a welcome addition to local live music. - ➤ Penn State Master Gardeners of Lehigh and Northampton Counties held their third gardening conference where experts explained how to care for house plants, tend to berries, control outdoor pests and store herbs—vendors also sold plants, seeds and tools. 69 News

- ➤ During Autism Awareness Month, Allentown EMS added Carter Kits Sensory Bags to five ambulances to help children with autism feel less scared in emergencies — the kits have a weighted blanket, sensory toys and communication cards.
