- ➤ LVEDC called for suggestions to fill a Made in Lehigh Valley time capsule with local items + partnering with Bethlehem's National Museum of Industrial History. Submissions are accepted until May 1 and selected pieces will appear in a public exhibit on July 4 before the capsule is sealed for 50 years. 69 News
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Allentown’s Blues, Brews and Barbecue Festival returns as Red, White and Blues on June 13 from noon to 8 p.m. downtown, headlined by American Idol finalist Jovin Webb. The free, family-friendly event along Hamilton Street (in honor of PA250) will feature three music stages, local food trucks and craft beverages. Lehigh Valley News

- ➤ State Rep. Tiburcio and colleagues proposed a bill that extends the malt beverage tax credit to five years + lets craft breweries sell credits; the proposal will go to the House Liquor Control Committee for review. Lehigh Valley Business
- ➤ PennDOT is asking for public feedback on its winter road services through an online survey available until Tuesday, Apr. 14, which takes about five minutes to complete. The anonymous, 17-question survey gathers views on snow-removal priorities and traveler information services. Bethlehem Press
