  • Police said a woman in Allentown sustained a minor forearm laceration during an altercation at Tipsy's Bar & Lounge on Union Boulevard on Sunday morning (she was taken to a local hospital) while officers broke up the crowd and began an investigation.  69 News
  • Early Sunday morning around 12:30 a.m., a dispute at Tipsy’s Bar and Lounge in Allentown led to a woman getting stabbed and police dispersed an unruly crowd—she was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  Lehigh Valley Live

  • Bishop Alfred A. Schlert of the Allentown Diocese held a memorial Mass on April 21 at 12:15 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena to honor Pope Francis, who passed away in Rome on April 21 at about 7:35 a.m.—the Diocese joined the Universal Church in mourning his legacy.  69 News
  • Levitt Pavilion is launching a free family movie series on May 21 at 6:30 p.m.—families may bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy ten Wednesday night films, starting with Despicable Me 4 and featuring classic animated anniversaries like Cinderella and Toy Story.  Lehigh Valley News

  • PennDOT Engineering District 5 announced today that 54 projects will begin this construction season across Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill counties—over $1 billion will be spent to improve roads and bridges in the area.  69 News
  • PennDOT began replacing the 78-year-old wall along Route 611 near the Delaware Canal on April 1 in Williams Township. The road is reduced to one lane with temporary signals until fall 2025—causing delays for drivers.  Lehigh Valley Live
