- ➤ Former Hellertown police chief Robert Shupp admitted to taking $41,000 and forgery and was sentenced to (9 to 23 months in prison) with (3 years probation) for stealing department funds between 2020 and 2023; his sentence was deferred until April 30 so he could set up work release.
