  • A pickup truck crashed into a tractor trailer and was pinned underneath in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot on West Tilghman Street around 10:30 a.m. Saturday—South Whitehall officials said the truck driver was taken to a hospital and the parking lot has been cleared.  69 News

  • On Saturday, Allentown celebrated Polish Constitution Day with its annual flag raising ceremony at City Hall—marking a longstanding tribute to Polish heritage.  69 News

  • Parkland High School seniors celebrated their prom on Saturday night at SteelStacks — where students danced and enjoyed the festivities — while local photographers covered the event. HEALTH NEWS

  • Yesterday, Cedar Beach Park hosted ROOTED, a free health and wellness festival in Allentown from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., where locals joined in dancing, yoga and live music. The event—presented by the city, Chamber and Blue Zones Project—also featured workshops and vendor stalls despite rainy weather.  WLVR

  • Fellowship Community in Whitehall announced plans to build three luxury apartment buildings on its 67-acre campus at Mauch Chunk Road and Schadt Avenue. Each new suite will have 24 smart-home apartments ranging from 1,050 to 1,450 square feet, and groundbreaking is expected this summer with completion projected in 2026 + pre-sale has begun.  WLVR
