- ➤ A fiery crash on Route 309 near Gun Club Road in Lynn Township killed three people when two died at the scene on May 4 and one died at the hospital on May 5 (the Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident). Daily Voice
- ➤ Three people died after a crash on Route 309 and Gun Club Road in Lynn Township, with Vannity Colon (21) of Allentown and Israel Medina (19) pronounced dead on Sunday and Jeffery Pichel (61) dying Monday at the hospital, and autopsies are set for today as police, the district attorney's office and the coroner investigate. 69 News
- ➤ Beth A. Burlile, Tower City American Legion president, died when her motorcycle collided with another vehicle on West Oak Street in Frackville on May 2 at 5:06 p.m. — her husband Marc sustained serious injuries, an autopsy is scheduled today, and her funeral will be held on May 9. Daily Voice

- ➤ Allentown police charged Victor Nieves (23) after he fired shots into the air on North Second Street around 10 a.m. and pointed a handgun at a school security officer before fleeing the scene, and he now faces charges (aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, carrying a concealed firearm without a license and evading arrest). 69 News
