  • Jose Santiago, 42, pleaded guilty on May 8 to felony third-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with a 2020 armed robbery on the Hamilton Street bridge that led to the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Christian Lopez-Rodriguez+ his wife Latasha Santiago, 36, pleaded guilty on March 31 to felony conspiracy with sentencing scheduled for June 16 and June 3 respectively.  Daily Voice
  • Allentown police raided a home on the 900 block of Gordon Street at 6 a.m. on May 8, arresting four individuals—Ricky Schlott, Felix Luna, Raymond Rodriguez, and Arianna Abreu—after uncovering high-powered weapons and illegal drugs including fentanyl and ecstasy, with court dates pending.  Daily Voice

  • The Pennsylvania State Police Bethlehem announced two upcoming car seat installation events in Northampton County and Bucks County—certified troopers will install car seats without appointments on Monday, May 19 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bath Borough Municipal Building and on Thursday, May 22 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bucks County Auto Care.  69 News

Lombardo was sworn in as police chief at Thursday night's South Whitehall Township meeting and Sergeant Torres was promoted as a seven-year veteran, marking key leadership changes in the department.
