  • The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office identified 45-year-old Timothy D. Vanbilliard of Emmaus, who died just before 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest following a police response at Weis Markets in South Whitehall Township — authorities are still investigating the incident.  Lehigh Valley Live

  • Allentown police launched an interactive online dashboard that gives residents up-to-date access to police activity data from as far back as January 1. The tool, updated each day around midnight, shows trends, incident hotspots — and lets users filter specific reports.  69 News
  • Lower Macungie planners heard from Lehigh County Authority CEO Liesel Gross about the KISS PA Act 537 Plan to reduce groundwater and stormwater leaks that add 10 million gallons of water daily to aged sewer pipes across 15 municipalities, with an initial $60 million phase scheduled for a DEP submission by October. The meeting also covered a proposal for 54 single-family homes at Iron Run Estates and a mixed-use project on 54.1 acres at N. Krocks Road — both plans that will be further refined following community feedback on traffic and design.  69 News
  • The Allentown City Planning Commission approved plans for a 22,500-square-foot addition to the police station next to City Hall on May 13, which will expand the station by over 75% and serve about 250 employees. Bids will be solicited in early 2026 and the project is expected to finish by summer—its completion will also allow a new art museum project to move forward.  Lehigh Valley News
