- ➤ Lower Macungie planners heard from Lehigh County Authority CEO Liesel Gross about the KISS PA Act 537 Plan to reduce groundwater and stormwater leaks that add 10 million gallons of water daily to aged sewer pipes across 15 municipalities, with an initial $60 million phase scheduled for a DEP submission by October. The meeting also covered a proposal for 54 single-family homes at Iron Run Estates and a mixed-use project on 54.1 acres at N. Krocks Road — both plans that will be further refined following community feedback on traffic and design. 69 News
- ➤ The Allentown City Planning Commission approved plans for a 22,500-square-foot addition to the police station next to City Hall on May 13, which will expand the station by over 75% and serve about 250 employees.
