- ➤ Three residents escaped a North Whitehall house fire just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday when a Dodge pickup crashed into a utility pole, sparking a power line that caused the blaze and left about 500 homes without power— the driver was cited for careless driving. Lehigh Valley Live

- ➤ A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Industrial Drive in Bethlehem on May 15, and police later identified the driver after finding the suspect vehicle on Avon Road — no arrests have been made. Daily Voice
