- ➤ Polling places in the Lehigh Valley had very light early turnout on primary election day—Bethlehem recorded only five votes by noon while an Allentown site saw 28 voters before 10:30 a.m.; officials noted that approximately 48,000 mail-in ballots have been sent and more votes may be counted as they arrive.
