- ➤ The Allentown West Rotary Club hosted its second annual Flags for Unity event at Parkland High School practice field (May 21 to May 25) with 500 flags honoring veterans, and retired Army Lt. Col. Nate Sassaman delivered a keynote address on honor, service, and sacrifice. Parkland Press
- ➤ UPS delivery man Jeff Guzzo retired after 37 years and was honored during a community party on a summery Sunday in May at Thunderhead Lodge; neighbors, family, and friends shared heartfelt stories and raised over $5,600 on a GoFundMe page. Lehigh Valley Press

- ➤ Air Products, based in Upper Macungie Township, is still evaluating its stalled $4.5B Louisiana Clean Energy Complex — the company’s largest U.S. project — as CEO Eduardo Menezes considers a new partnership with Yara International while refocusing on core industrial gas operations. 69 News
- ➤ On May 29, Walmart announced that customers in Allentown and other markets can now get eligible orders delivered in 30 minutes or less. The new service, which costs $10 for Walmart+ members, uses store networks and improved technology to boost delivery speed. Daily Voice

- ➤ Today, the MOM-n-PA Dental Mission free clinic opens at 6:00 a.m. at the Allentown Fairgrounds Agri-Plex to offer dental extractions, root canal treatments, and denture fittings. Organizers expect to serve over 2,000 community members with services valued at over $1.2 million. 69 News

- ➤ Coach Kyle Rusnock led a small team—the Rough Riders—to win a gold medal in the boys’ 4x400 relay at the state championships at Shippensburg last weekend while his athletes earned five medals overall. Lehigh Valley Press
