Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 1st of June.
Good morning, Allentown.
🎓 Education
Family and friends gathered at Catasauqua High School to celebrate the graduation of seniors, and photographer Donna Fisher captured key moments of the ceremony—other local graduations will also be covered in the region.
The event marked a significant milestone for the graduates as they completed their studies.
🏥 Health
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said WeHwupe Store recalled about 94,800 adult portable bed rails because they posed a risk of entrapment and asphyxiation — one injury was reported when a rail broke during use — and the rails lacked required warning labels.
They were sold on Amazon and Walmart from September 2023 to January for $33 to $43.
