- ➤ A massive fire destroyed a Coopersburg building that housed a gentleman’s club and apartments on Monday after midnight, marking the second blaze in two weeks with no injuries reported as firefighters battled a collapsed roof and an arcing power line — investigators are now searching for the cause. 69 News

- ➤ In April 2023, Phillip Zulauf, a 75-year-old from Lower Mount Bethel Township, was found dead in a Talen Energy power plant retention pond on Depues Road after he had been reported missing for more than a week.
