- ➤ A man was shot outside Catch 22 on Hamilton Street at 4 a.m. Sunday, June 22—police said he was trying to de-escalate a disturbance when gunfire broke out and he is expected to recover after being treated at a local hospital while investigators seek witnesses. Lehigh Valley Live
- ➤ On Monday morning, Allentown officer Evan Weaver faced arraignment for sex crimes—including charges of rape, kidnapping, and coercion—while former officer Jason Krasley was charged with theft related to over $5,000 from a drug probe + Krasley's lawyer requested extra time for pretrial motions, with the next hearing set for August 28th at 1:30 p.m. at the Lehigh County Courthouse. 69 News

Latin Festival returns to SteelStacks from June 26 to June 28 with free live music, dance, film screenings, and food vendors including Holy Infancy Church and School and Hogar CREA. - ➤ Lehigh Valley Health Network held a groundbreaking ceremony on June 4 to expand the LVH-Muhlenberg emergency room, which will nearly double in size and include more trauma bays and upgraded care areas (with 83 emergency beds, a dedicated pediatric unit, bariatric rooms, new imaging facilities, a trauma recovery space, and a helipad). The expansion is expected to be complete in fall 2026 with renovations finishing in spring 2027. Lehigh Valley Press

- ➤ May data from the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors shows that closed sales fell 11.4% in Lehigh and Northampton counties while new listings rose 5% to 803 and pending sales increased 5% to 654, with homes selling in just 19 days.
