CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Louis Angelo Belletieri pleaded guilty to two counts of wire fraud for defrauding a title insurance underwriter and clients by misusing escrow funds at his Allentown-based Legacy Title—he will be sentenced on September 12 and could face up to 40 years in prison. Lehigh Valley Press

- ➤ Reefer Madness: The Musical opened on June 26 at Civic Theatre of Allentown and shows a funny look at how marijuana is exaggerated. The play will run today at 10 p.m. and on June 29 at 2 p.m. at the theatre (527 N. 19th St.). Lehigh Valley Press
- ➤ Steel Panther, known for their funny heavy metal parodies, will perform at 8 p.m. Sept 11 at Musikfest Cafe at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. - ➤ Lehigh County Coroner’s Office is seeking next of kin for 76-year-old Juan P. Puertas, an Allentown resident who died Tuesday, June 17 at 9:40 p.m. at a local hospital in Salisbury Township; an autopsy was completed Thursday + further tests are needed to determine his cause of death. - ➤ Developer Nat Hyman is preparing a lawsuit against the City of Allentown for not cleaning up homeless encampments near Jordan Creek that let trash wash into the creek—harming his properties and nearby low-income communities. His legal team said they will file state and federal lawsuits after a 60-day notice if no deal is reached, and he is open to discussing a financial contribution to help fix the problem. 69 News
