- ➤ A new report shows Lehigh University contributed $1.4 billion in economic activity to the Lehigh Valley during fiscal 2024, supporting one out of every 31 jobs in the area. At the July 7 meeting, local farmer Heather Skorinko called for zoning changes to ease restrictions on craft distilleries while residents nearly reached 500 signatures on a petition asking for Supervisor Dennis Klusaritz's resignation.
