Curtis International recalled about 634,000 Frigidaire-brand mini fridges sold at Walmart and Amazon after reports of short-circuits led to fires that caused over $700K in damage and two cases of smoke inhalation.

Owners are told to stop using the fridges (unplug and label them 'recall' with permanent marker) and to dispose of them per local laws.
