- ➤ The opening night of RiverFest 2025 at Jim Dietrich Park in Muhlenberg Township drew families, vendors, and dog owners—over 25,000 people were expected—and the festival will run through today with free admission and parking available. 69 News

- ➤ Police are looking for Tyler Anthony Gualano, a 32-year-old missing from Hanover Township since July 16 who showed erratic behavior and was last seen near 4th and Allen in Allentown—he is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds, has long black hair, a beard and green eyes, and has an open wound on his arm. 69 News

- ➤ The new Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Regional Music Awards have postponed the first ceremony to December 6 and launched a website for artist nominations and applications. - ➤ Staghorn sumac was seen growing on Sand Island in Bethlehem on Aug. 21 and produces red edible berries, while poison sumac grows in wet areas and contains skin-irritating urushiol. - ➤ North Whitehall Township’s planning commission questioned the Kornfeinds’ claim of a 1994 agreement with a deceased neighbor over the planned car wash at 2228 Old Post Road—officials said they need written proof before the zoning hearing board meeting.
