- ➤ Bethlehem will celebrate 80 years since World War II ended and its sister city bond with Tondabayashi, Japan on Saturday, Sept. 13. - ➤ At a Sept. 3 council meeting, Hanover Township approved charter amendments, 2025 ballot questions, trick-or-treat plans for Oct. 31 with a rain date of Nov. 1, the replacement of three nonfunctional garage door openers, and a $109,000 water line option for Lehigh Valley Academy—council also approved Sept. 3 township bills totaling $213,976.85.
