  • On Sunday, the community gathered for the 46th annual Greater Allentown CROP Hunger Walk to raise funds and awareness for local and global hunger relief. Sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches, money raised will support resources like the Ecumenical Food Bank and Conference Kitchen that provide over 10,000 meals monthly—helping those in need.  69 News

  • Tr3s Salon moved to a new Penn Avenue location to welcome more stylists and customers — the updated shop will support the salon's growing operations.  69 News
  • Former corporate exec Jennifer O’Neill is converting a historic Nazareth building into Circle Cafe on Main—offering homemade quiches, soups, flatbreads, pastries and take-home dinners. Renovations have begun with minimal changes planned and the cafe will open by Christmas—financed by an SBA loan arranged by Lehigh Financial Group LLC.  Lehigh Valley Live

  • The InnaStar Trailblazer Awards honored Black and Latino artists in 17 categories at Archer Music Hall on Oct. 18. EDUCATION NEWS

  • This past weekend, eight colleges participated in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Hackathon at Lehigh University where teams built projects in 24 hours to help improve their daily routines. The competition (sponsored by Amazon Web Services) awarded prizes for best overall, best use of Amazon resources, best visual design, a freshman team, and best use of AI.  69 News

  • Residents will see the Orionids meteor shower from late Tuesday night until early Wednesday morning, with about 20 meteors per hour visible in a dark sky—experts advise finding a spot away from city lights for the best view.  Daily Voice
