- ➤ ArtsQuest announced the 33rd annual Christkindlmarkt, presented by Univest Financial, will expand with a new Winter Wonderland—adding more vendor booths, family zones, and live holiday performances. - ➤ Muhlenberg College is partnering with Edcor to expand access to degree and certificate programs for working professionals. - ➤ Northwestern Elementary hosted a Veterans Day Celebration Assembly on November 7 to honor local heroes—students, staff, veterans and families enjoyed patriotic songs, artwork and flag ceremonies. - ➤ Lehigh County Authority is warning nearly 43,000 customers by mail about the type of water service lines on their property as it prepares to replace lead pipes under new EPA rules. The effort aims to reduce lead exposure with replacements scheduled through 2037 and costs now estimated at $200 million — a major public health project for the area. Lehigh Valley News

- ➤ Allentown's Parks and Recreation Department unveiled its draft plan—Our City in a Park—that sets broad goals for modernizing parks over the next 10 to 15 years using input from recent public meetings. Residents can submit feedback online until November 23 and the plan will be presented to City Council in mid-January, with adoption expected on Feb. 4. WLVR
- ➤ The Allentown Environmental Advisory Council approved two letters on Monday that call for changes to the city parks master plan and a new Climate Action Plan—its recommendations include adding cooling centers and more green spaces. - ➤ City crews began clearing a homeless camp along Jordan Creek on Monday by removing tents and debris near Union Street — Hamilton Street as part of a two-week operation. Crews will remove more tents and debris between Hamilton and Gordon streets next week while at least one evicted resident said he was unsure where to go. WLVR
