  • The Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority Police Department hosted a Shop with a Cop event on Saturday for 19 kids from the Catasauqua school district and their families at Airport Road Target — where they shopped for Christmas gifts, enjoyed lunch, and left with a Christmas tree.  69 News
  • On Saturday, Caring Hearts held a clothing giveaway and tree adoption fundraiser in Slatington + local residents received hats, gloves, scarves and jackets while decorating trees and voting for the best display; the event supported the nonprofit's community spirit.  69 News
  • Wilson Area LINCS held its fourth annual Photos with Santa event at the high school cafeteria yesterday from 9:30 a.m. to noon, offering Wilson families free photos with Santa, games, gifts and festive extras like free kids haircuts by Lifestyle Barber Academy.  Lehigh Valley News

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A three-alarm fire early Saturday on the 500 block of Allen Street forced five families, including 8 children and 15 adults, to leave their homes, and the American Red Cross is helping as officials investigate the cause.  69 News

  • Bethlehem native Madelyn Dundon stars in the new film ‘Hazel’s Heart’ (a 2025 survival thriller inspired by Hazel Miner’s true story during a 1920 blizzard). Three special screenings will be held at Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem.  69 News

  • Township officials said Thursday that they postponed reviewing Lower Macungie Mixed Use Development LLC’s plan for the 54-acre Shoppes at Hamilton at North Krocks Road. Officials also rejected bids for the Ash Lane Bridge replacement as they review updated design plans.  69 News
