About this event
Join us for “My Dear Général,” a presentation by author Jeffrey Finegan describing the extraordinary relationship between George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette. The "father and son relationship" that forged between Washington and the young French aristocrat who traveled from France to fight in the American Revolution at the side of George Washington. While most biographies on the first president mention the bond between George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette this book is dedicated solely to this story. This book is a part of the 4-book series "I Knew George Washington Series," which are available for sale at the event.
