*** Meeting location : Meet in the rear parking area adjacent to the canal at the Canal Park located @ 2520 River Rd, New Hope, PA 18938.***

Executive Director of the Friends, Michael Ginder and Park Educator Katie Martens will lead this 3.5-mile round-trip walk through the historic village of New Hope, with a stop at the Locktender’s House for hot chocolate and cookies.
On the way south from Canal Park to Lock 11 in New Hope, we’ll listen for owls and keep our eyes open for other nocturnal critters. You will learn about some landmark canal features and the fascinating past that enriches this community.
It will be held weather permitting . It will be canceled in the event of rain, total cloud cover, or hazardous conditions. Check for a Go/No Go email message along with a website and Facebook update that will be posted prior to the walk.
Please dress warmly in non-cotton layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a flashlight or headlamp, just in case.
